Accepting $40,000 from the Lions Club toward the Central Park splash pad.
The Lions Club has offered $40,000 toward construction of a splash pad in Central Park. Under Minn. Stat. § 465.03, the Council must accept a gift by resolution adopted by a two-thirds majority.
Recommendation
Adopt Resolution 2026-44 accepting the donation with thanks.
Fiscal impact
$40,000 in revenue to the Park Improvement Fund.
