Public Hearings

1. Preliminary Plat: Prairie View Second Addition

File 2026-0202 · Public Hearing · Community Development

A 38-lot single-family subdivision on 14 acres east of County Road 7.

The developer requests preliminary plat approval for 38 single-family lots, one outlot for stormwater and an extension of Meadow Lane. The Planning Commission held the public hearing and recommends approval with nine conditions covering park dedication, a development agreement, stormwater and a second access before the 20th building permit.

Four residents of Meadow Lane commented on construction traffic. Condition 6 routes construction traffic to County Road 7.

Recommendation: Approve the preliminary plat subject to the nine conditions recommended by the Planning Commission.

Fiscal impact: Developer pays all public improvement costs through the development agreement.
